Thank you so much for this example! I had read/tried hundreds of others and never could get my jar file working until I tried yours. Simple and to the point, and the output to the log is a great idea also.
Thanks that's VERY simple ! I have some questions though: 1. What If I need to gracefully shutdown my service ? 2. Your script shuts down my service only when the server is shutting down. What if I need to manually shutdown my service. Will this still work ?
