Ubuntu Unity: I want my KeePassX panel back!

  1. Great little tip! However, the changes won't take effect until you log out and log back in.

If you don't want to keep whitelisting apps, you can also change the value to ['all']

  2. unity panel doesn't support double-click action, so if you close keepassx to the tray, you can never get it back. You have to quite and restart keepassX again and again, quite annoying.

  3. Disabling "miniize to tray" help somewhat as then after normal minimization keepassx can be redisplayed via unity panel (press Win then pick appropriate number or click keepass icon)

Still, irritating. Whatever appindicators are good for, I do not understand why couldn't old panel APIs remain supported.

  4. Thanks for this tip! Really helped me out. I thought I was going to have to give up on Unity entirely (... which I still might do ...)
